Vitamin B12 Facts and Information
People who are low on vitamin B12 can have problems with chronic fatigue or anemia. They usually require monthly injections of vitamin B12 because, if someone on a normal, varied diet is actually low on B12, they most likely have problems with absorption of B12, therefore making injection a better route.

Vitamin B12 shots are most effective when taken at regular intervals (usually monthly). A regular schedule to receive the injections can be customized to each individual.

A vitamin B12 shot is safe and generally has no side effects. You cannot %u201Coverdose%u201D on Vitamin B12. If someone gets to much, what the body does not need will be excreted in their urine.

Potential Benefits From Vitamin B12 Injections:

AMIC-B12 L-Carnitine Injection
Many have reported loosing an additional one pound per week over and above what they would have achieved with diet and exercise alone. It is recommended that the injection be a part of an over all weight loss and wellness program including a 1500 calorie or less per day healthy, well balanced diet and at least 30 minutes of exercise per day. The AMIC-B12 L-Carnitine injection is recommended to be given once a week to improve weight loss.

AMIC -B12 L-Carnitine is an acronym that stands for Adenosine, Methionine, Inositol, Choline, B12 and L-Carnitine. These are lipotropic agents that are believed to support liver function and promote the excretion of fat. Methionine is an amino acid. Choline and Inositol are co-factors. Together they aid in the mobilization and elimination of fat deposits.

Adenosine is a naturally occurring cellular metabolite that has been on the market for over 50 years. According to researchers at Boston%u2019s Beth Israel Hospital, and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, low levels of Adenosine predisposes people to be over weight by causing fewer calories to be burned as heat and more to be stored as fat. For over 50 years adenosine has been used for a variety of medical problems including chronic fatigue, muscle and joint pain, loss of memory, the immune system, sleep disturbance, stress weight control and varicose
veins.

Methionine is an essential amino acid, which meant that is not synthesized by humans. This means it must be consumed. Foods that contain high levels of methionine include cheese, eggs, fish meats, spinach, potatoes, Brazil nuts, sesame seeds and other plant seeds. However, by injecting methionine into the muscle we can improve the absorption which is believed to result in more effective mobilization and elimination of fat deposits.

Inositol helps to maintain proper energy and nutrient transfer across the cell membrane. It also acts as a lipotrophic agent which converts fat into other useful products. Inositol helps maintain healthy cell membranes. It is naturally found in certain foods such as nuts, beans, grains, cantaloupe and oranges. It is thought to be more effective in breaking down fat when given as an injection.

Choline is a natural amine that is involved in the synthesis of carnitine, cell membrane phospholipids and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Without choline, fats can be stored in the liver, where they can decrease normal metabolic function of the liver. Choline is found in peanuts, soybeans, wheat, chicken, fish, beef, cauliflower, eggs and lettuce.

L-Carnitine is an amino acid which is involved in the metabolism of fat. It functions as a transporter of fatty acids. Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the burning of triglycerides as fuel.
